Snowflake test proves:

Only one glue stick offers clear, consistent quality every time.

These snowflake sun catchers were photographed in natural light twice daily for four days. The color in these photos has not been edited. This vivid change happened simply by leaving these samples in a window!

THE DIFFERENCE IS CLEAR
But who cares about yellowing glue?

Glue sticks are a generic product for most crafters. Sticks from different manufacturers often look identical, so crafters assume they'll act the same. They justifiably expect a 'clear' glue stick to remain clear, regardless of where they store it, the project they use it on, or when they bought it.

Glues may look alike, but as our time lapse experiment shows, there can be a clear difference.

When a major competitor cuts corners, it reflects poorly on all glue manufacturers because there is no way to tell which glue is which once they're out of the bag. When AdTech saw what the competition was doing, we became very concerned.

For consumers, it raises serious questions:

  • Should they accept yellowing glue, even though it is easily avoided?
  • Are they worried that a manufacturer is more concerned on cutting corners than delivering a consistent, reliable product?
  • Since they can't visually tell the difference in glue sticks, will they gamble on the short cuts a random manufacturer might take?

At AdTech, we know that the UV protection additives not only keep our clear glue clear, it improves its performance when it is heated in a glue gun. We know this because we constantly test the performance of our glues.

Crafters don't expect surprises, they expect consistency. AdTech is clearly committed to giving them what they expect.

At AdTech, our brand is our promise to deliver consistent quality every time.

Flowers:
We know that crafters pay great attention to detail. If they arrange silk flower centerpieces for a wedding, the glue they use to create the appearance of dew drops should remain clear throughout the celebration. No matter what the trendy project is this year, next year or five years from now, consumers should feel confident that the supplies they buy will behave the way they expect.

Glue sticks:
The yellowing glue you see is not from one bad batch. We purchased the leading competition's glue on different dates from stores in California, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire and North Carolina. At the time, they were bought, they looked the same as other glues. While some changed color more quickly than others, they all yellowed in a relatively short amount of time. It doesn't have to be that way, of course, as the sun-exposed AdTech glue sticks on the far right show.
