April showers might bring May flowers, but they also bring bored children! Like our Snow Day Activity Jar, this rain drop jar will hold ideas for keeping everyone busy when the weather is wet.

 

 

Supplies Needed:

AdTech French Vanilla Scented Glue Sticks

AdTech Hi Temp Precision Pro Glue Gun

Mason Jar

Flat-backed, blue, drop-shaped & oval, craft gems

Ribbon

Instructions to Make a Rainy Day Jar

Step One: Hot glue gems onto the mason jar in a random pattern, to look like rain drops.

Step Two: Hot glue a ribbon around the edge of the lid. If you want, you can put decorative paper or a little sign on the top of the jar lid.

Step Three: Print, then cut out the rainy day activities and place them in the jar.

 

Rainy Day 2

Step Four: Pull-out the jar next time it rains. Have your children get activity ideas. Put your feet up and have a cup of tea.
